Riu Flamingos - All Inclusive

"My family and I have stayed at RIU Vallarta and at RIU Palace Pacifico in Puerto Vallarta. This time we stayed at RIU Flamingos since we saw they remodeled. The staff is not as friendly and attentive as the staff at RIU Vallarta and RIU Palace Pacifico. We didn't care for the horses in front of the beach. They leave their mess and you have to watch where you walk to make sure you don't step on it. I would rate the food a 6 out of 10. We were not told at check-in about the process of making reservations for the Steak House. When we showed up at the steak house, we were told reservations are only made via the app. They open 40 slots at 12am and once they are full, the reservation is closed. Good thing we found out before our last day there. I was able to reserve at 6:30am for that night."

"We loved out stay at Miraval. Beach was amazing. Property was kept clean. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. Drinks could be better, and service at the bars could be faster. Dinner options could also improve as reservations at restaurants are limited, and some restaurants do not open daily. But overall, we had an amazing time at this resort and would stay there again!"

"The hotel itself was beautiful! Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The beach was beautiful, clean, and easily accessible, and the pool was great although I do wish the pool water was a little cooler. 🏖️☀️ The food was okay quality wise, but I felt there wasn’t much variety, especially when it came to kid friendly options. One of the biggest downsides for us was that there is no room service or food available in the rooms at all. With little kids, this was definitely challenging and something I wish I had known beforehand. ⚠️ Important for families traveling with someone who uses a wheelchair: This resort was not very wheelchair friendly. There were areas that were difficult to access, so if you have someone with mobility needs, I highly recommend doing your research ahead of time and requesting a room closer to the registration/front desk area. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the beach was great, and the pool was enjoyable. Just make sure you know about the food options, lack of room service, and accessibility before booking especially if you’re traveling with young children or someone with mobility needs."

"Villa La Estancia checked every box for us! From the moment we arrived, everything was handled exceptionally well. The resort is beautiful, extremely clean, relaxing, and very well maintained. The staff truly made the experience special. Everyone was welcoming, professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The service throughout the resort was excellent, and we felt very well taken care of during our entire stay. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful, the pool and grounds were amazing, the food and drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what you want from a vacation. We traveled as a family, and everyone had a wonderful time. It’s not often that a hotel gets everything right, but Villa La Estancia really did. We left very happy with our stay and would absolutely come back again."
