"We have stayed here several times before and like that it is walkable to downtown and the beach, quieter than staying downtown and easy access to the bus station to get the bus to San Pancho, Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. It is always clean and the staff are great. It’s always good to see Jonathon on reception."
"I think value for the money was exceptional. It didn’t bother me that 2 of the windows in my room were in a dark alley. Still let in enough natural light and kept things dark enough that I could sleep In a bit. Staff was great. I’d def stay here again and location was top notch. "
"We had a lovely time at Siete Lunas!! Such a sweet boutique hotel with incredible views, delicious food, lovely patio, pool and dining area and friendly, helpful staff!! Highly recommended! "
"We have stayed several places in Sayulita and Casa Pata Salada is our new favorite. Adorable casita with an ocean view and close to everything. We will definitely stay here again. "

This bohemian beach town balances surf breaks for beginners with colourful street art and authentic fish tacos from beachside stands. Rent a golf cart to explore hidden beaches north of town, then join locals for sunset margaritas at Don Pedro's right on the sand.
Sayulita is a laid back beach town. If you're looking for the French Riviera with 5 star services , this isn't it. We enjoy the casual and less fancy atmosphere as an alternative to our usual travel. The locals are extremely friendly

We were told the city had been overrun by tourists. We found plenty of beaches and good restaurants that weren't crowded at all. Do a little research, rent a golf cart early in your stay, and explore.

Be careful. There is a water contamination going on in the ocean main beach. If you go, you will get very sick. Go to other beaches for a while.

Come before high season as we did. Apparently it can get too busy. Wonderful beaches, shopping and restaurants. You do not need a car

I loved Sayulita. Its a small, laid-back surfer town with a good mix of tourists and residents. I dont surf, but the beaches and jungle are beautiful, the resturants are delicious, and its easy to walk anywhere in town.

Love Sayulita but it's getting a bit out of control with bars being aloud to play music all night at full blast. Also most places don't take CC so must have cash.

Sayulita was busier than we thought it would be. We wanted to surf but it was too busy. They allow surfers and swimmers in the same area, making it inconvenient to surf safely. There are surfers without board leashes on their ankles, dangerous.

Sayulita itself was beautiful! Would absolutely come back to the town but never to El Pueblito.

Sayulita is a great place to relax, get some sun, and enjoy some amazing food. We'll definitely be back!
"I don’t even know where to start. This was probably the most beautiful I have ever stayed. The decor is unique and relaxing. The view from the giant private patio is INSANE. The bed is sooooo comfy (I am actually currently in the process of sourcing the pillows and bedspread to buy for my home!). The location is one block from the beach and right in the middle of town and everything you could want to walk to (although super quiet with the patio doors closed). The AC was a life saver (I visited in the summer). The rooftop pool? OMG. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.
I’m a woman and travelled ablond and felt completely safe the whole time.
I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

"This is by far the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in, so peaceful, so friendly, such great customer service, so clean and hospitable, loved everything about this place. Would always come back here."
"Location was great, staff was awesome, complimentary breakfast was delicous. All and all a great place to stay. Everything was clean and loved that our balcony had the ac machine in the corner because it dried our wet clothes quickly. Thanks again..."
