"Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough."

"Breakfast was lovely"

"Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast."

"Fine for a one night stay."

"Great hotel, my room was small, but the hotel is in the center of town and that worked for me. The waiting staff were great and helpful and stopped for chats as I was travelling/eating on my own."

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."

"So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!"

"Very tasteful selections for breakfast with an elegant presentation— history abounds in this small inn- lovely!🇨🇦"

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"Very clean and new"

"Lovely place to stay, grounds lovely and room clean. Restaurant very busy so would advise to book early if you want an evening meal. Food was excellent."

"Comfortable accommodation in an interesting historic property"
