"This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed. It is older, on the historic register. The rooms are so charming and extremely inviting. Everything was very clean as well. Our room had a balcony that overlooked a well maintained rose garden and courtyard. So very quiet and peaceful. We even slept with the patio door opened! Staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave me a little goodie bag as they knew I was running the Big Sur Marathon. I highly recommend the Merritt House!"
