"The front staff to check us in were very welcoming and helpful for tips about hikes and parks in the area. This hotel was only 15 minutes from John Muir national monument and Mt Tamalpais hiking. The pool is heated and pretty big for a hotel, with a hot tub. The breakfast was standard for best western but the staffing at this location is what made the difference for my wife and I. Everyone from the check in staff, to the staff that cleaned our room and the breakfast staff were exceptionally professional and welcoming. The location is ideal for the surrounding area hikes and only 15 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge if you are going into SF. The hotel is right by Hwy 101. We never once were worried about the safety of our vehicle and our room. The property is pretty large for the area with a large courtyard for lounging in the evening around an outdoor fire place with chairs for relaxing after hiking etc. we definitely would stay here again when visiting Marin County. "

"This hotel is very nice and great location. Only 10-15 minute bike ride to Sausalito and 10 minute bike ride to the Golden Gate Bridge. Really great solitude just on the edges of San Francisco. Suggest staying in the newer modern rooms and upgrade to a suite."
