Your Oman Holiday Itinerary
Day 1-2: Start your journey in the serene seaside capital, Muscat. Search for treasures in the city’s many souks (open markets) before checking out the beautiful adjoining city of Old Muscat. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the stunning Royal Opera House are must-sees while you’re here.
Day 3-4: Rent a car and venture onward to Nizwa, one of Oman’s oldest cities. Nizwa Fort, Jabreen Castle, Al Hoota Cave and Sultan Qaboos Mosque deserve to be on your itinerary here.
Day 5-6: Continue to the Al Hajar Mountains. Home to Oman’s tallest mountain, Jabal Shams, this area is a popular stop with travellers. For a view you won’t forget, take a hike on the Wadi Ghul Balcony Walk. Also set aside time to visit Wadi Bani Khalid, a beautiful desert oasis.
