"The hotel is located 1.7miles to the centre of Oxford. Which is lovely, if like me you love walking!! It is in the great location of Summer Town with a parade of shops for restaurants, coffee shops and local supermarkets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked with clean towels, toilet paper and shower gel. However, there were only 2 hangers to hang either a coat or handbag. There was no other furniture or hanging space and no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Parking is on a first come first served basis - I would advise arriving there before 11am when check out is to grab a space. Once you've paid £15 per night, the parking is guaranteed to be yours, even if you decide to drive somewhere else and then return, you'll find a space."

"Warm welcome, spacious comfortable room, with everything you need. Food menu in the cafe was limited but good portions - and with the added bonus of free sweet and savoury treats for residents. Limited parking on site - but if you pre-pay you get a daily food allowance, so good value. And very easy 18-20 min walk to the town centre, including a nice walk along the river path."

"This is a lovely hotel. However, the floor plan is very complex. The room we had (and certainly not the cheapest) was on the first floor. Up to the first floor in the elevator. Up several steps, down several steps and then down 2 flights of stairs. This is definitely not accessible."

"Food was very good. Enjoyed breakfast daily as well as a dinner or two. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Appreciated little extras such as in room tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies."

"So well positioned for the New Theatre, room small and dated but everything worked, the air con was quiet and street noise was close to zero. Excellent bed and shower. A great stay for an overnight, not though a hotel base for much longer"
