"The hotel and gardens have been refurbished to an amazing standard, and David & Arielle were excellent hosts with all sorts of helpful holiday tips. Very enjoyable stay."
"If you are interested in the Victory or the Mary Rose it is right across the street. Super great. Parking down the street was easy but prefer not to have to do it. But if you have to remote park, it wasn't a big deal. It was pretty easy."

10/10 Excellent
"The room was fabulous, Cindy with my own bath, clear instructions to get back in and booking in. And times for breakfast which was very good standard "
"Very comfortable the room was large and the bed was just right . The hotel was right in the town soeasy access to shops and restaurants and not very far from the beach "
"My room was comfortable though basic and the hotel is in a great location for Ryde just being minutes walk from the hovercraft and the town centre. The staff were really noce and friendly and the breakfasts were amazing! If I come to Ryde again, I would definitely stay here."
"If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. Very small lift as well if you have a lot of baggage and a wheelchair. Make sure you order your meals AT THE BAR. We were not told this at check in (although they made a reservation for us at the restaurant they neglected to mention we had to go to the bar to order) and we sat for 15 minutes waiting to flag a server! The hotel itself was nice (we had adjoining rooms) and rooms were clean and comfortable. It was very noisy though as you are on a main road (lots of motor bikes!), noise from the patio at the bar and noise from people entering and leaving the building. I'm not sure we would stay there again, but it was great experience staying at an historical building right on the Ryde seafront. "
You can learn about the history of St Helens with a stop at St Helens Duver. Stroll along the area's beautiful beaches or simply savour its lively bars.
