"Querky property, doesn't look like a hotel/motel. Staff very good and accommodating. Ideal for matchday with the lads, wouldn't take the wife. Beds we had were not the best but understand the need for waterproof covers. These make a lot of noise when moving in bed. would stay again if stuck for accommodation. Free secure parking is a bonus."
"Shame it didn't have ensuite with proper shower as such and the "full breakfast" was not a full proper English breakfast, ie eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, brown toast, hashbrowns, mushrooms etc..."
"We chose this hotel for our 29th wedding anniversary, it didn’t disappoint. Staff were great, room was lovely, food was great. Hope to go back soon.

"Excellent hotel, and the staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite. Our stay was fantastic. The hotel has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which we were able to use for a small extra. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. It is a dated hotel though, so the bathroom wasn't great (our shower had poor pressure as the taps kept running even with the shower on) and the rooms could have been a bit cleaner. Breakfast is only til 9 too so a bit rushed in the morning."
"Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was a bit warm as it was a humid day. Reception got us a fan for the room. Was very clean and comfortable room and very quiet and peaceful sleep. In the morning we had breakfast the lady we spoke to was amazingly helpfully and hospitable. Made sure we had everything we needed and even had a lovely chat with us after we finished. Great service and breakfast. Will definitely stay again. "
"One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and efficient. The facilities were excellent, and parking was very easy. All round, the hotel was nice and clean. Food was very good, especially the breakfast, tasty, hot and plenty. It was an easy walk into the town. All round, a great experience for us, highly recommended. "
"Great property although an odd set out and you cannot park outside. You have to park at the back of the house where there is no access to the house and then have to walk all the way around. The property was lovely, very clean, beds comfy and lots of extras ypu may need such as coffee, sugar, cereals etc
Greay stay i just thought access to enter the house was a bit strange. Would definitely stay again but wouldnt recommend for people with accessibility needs who cannot walk very well. This is the onlt thing that let this proeprty down. "
