It would have been helpful to have more signage directing to the rooms at the top of the stairs - it’s easy to go the wrong way! Great hotel close to the airport with great transport links good food and drinks in the bar and close to a number of shops will be staying again. We did have some noise from aircraft but we did pay for the runway view loved every min of it.

When I booked this hotel I didn’t realize it’s special history as the former airport terminal. It has special touches all around such as being able to view old planes. The location near the shops and restaurants was very convenient. We all really enjoyed our stay.

The building is a great example of art deco architecture whose character has been reflected in art and furnishings. The rooms are comfortable, if a little tired, and the bathrooms are in a classy period style. The food and beverage service lets the overall experience down as the staff seem disinterested, are disengaged, and act more like they are working in a pub than a supposedly upscale hotel. Examples include being served a meal and directed to collect your own cutlery, and breakfast service is poor with things like the juice bar being left to overrun with spillage rather than having a drip tray or for anyone to think about cleaning it. I'm undecided if I would stay here again, probably not

Lovely art deco building and easy to visualise its aeronautical history with old planes outside. Room decor has lovely deco touches. A bit tired in places but a grea hotel at great price

Excellent airport hotel with parking

Lovely hotel. Very clean and spacious room. Parked for 2 weeks when flying from Liverpool

Great hotel for families

Great hotel wonderful staff particularly in the breakfast section and restaurant. Great location and access to David Lloyd’s pool and facilities.
