"This was the original Excellence, so it is a bit dated. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am allergic to gluten, so there were limited options, especially desserts. The chef in the Excellence Club was outstanding and made GF French toast for me every morning. The spa was gorgeous. "

"Overall Melia All Inclusive was a really good choice for a more intimate vibe if that is what you’re feeling. There isn’t a lot of loud party’s going on through out the days. The staff was amazing, always welcoming and delighted to see you where ever you are on the resort. Overall I love the fact the buffet does theme dinner nights through out the week. Always plenty of options even if you don’t eat seafood. My boyfriend and I stayed on the Level Room on the 10th floor and can’t get over the ocean views from sunrise to sunsets. Not to mention leaving the door open and falling asleep to the ocean waves. Thank you Melia for a wonderful experience. "

Also Ariz and Yhara helped me every step of the way with some recommendations, service, and reservations at the resturants (which were all very good). Very great staff and everyone is so nice! "Staff was great. Food Could use some improvements. Buffet is small and gets old. Only one restaurant and food is ok. They could use another restaurant but the Resort is older and could use updating. But overall was enjoyable. "

"The employees were fine the problem is the facility pictures are not the way we found the resort. The place is a snorkel and scuba divers resort which we are not... they all seemed to be enjoying their stay. To get to the restaurant you have to cross the street... my wife and I were looking for a beach where you can walk into the water and you can't because of the rocks. We arrived in time for lunch and the food was not good and not even closely the same as described or portrayed in photos. "

"Loved our stay here, the place is beautiful, lots of different food. The beach has lots of seaweed but the hotel had people cleaning it up. The beach was nice but it is very rocky, definitely recommend water shoes!"
