"This is our first time going to an all inclusive and to Mexico so we have nothing to judge off of but we had a great time. The resort was a bit outdated but was very clean. The staff were super nice, helpful and wanted to make our experience wonderful. The food was good. we found items at each dinner that were delicious. They have different themes for each evening. We ate breakfast and dinner at the buffet. Tons of options that we could get a filling meal and be able to try new food and still have basic options if we wanted. We didn’t go to the 2 restaurants just because having a set time didn’t work out for when we were hungry or not The beach was great the last day and half. The water was brown from the sargassum so we ventured down to the other side of the barrier and swam there. the workers did a wonderful job keeping the beach clean though. No build up and no smell For the price point and overall experience we would definitely stay here again We also used Fantasy travel for airport shuttle which you could book ahead of time with all your flight info and they set the times. 10 minute drive from airport to the resort "

"We were at ElCozumeleno in the 2000's and had a great time. What a difference this time. The place is rundown and not managed very well. The hot tubs were bubbling green foam. Charging $40 jf you check in early is rediculous when there isn't anyone in line. The bed linen was illfitted the towels were gray. The food had nothing desirable. A real dissappointment."

"Property was a great location for a group vacation. We were three families with six adults and eight kids.We hired the property’s chef, Francisco, he was superb and I would definitely recommend. We requested family style means breakfast and dinner and they turned out fantastic. There were some minor maintenance issues with the property, but nothing significant. We were disappointed that the sargassum had arrived along the beach which limited our ability to play in the water. That’s something to keep in mind as we didn’t realize that that part of Cozumel was susceptible. There isn’t much that can be done about the sargassum so that isn’t the property owner’s fault. We ended up going south along the coast for clean beaches. There is a pier about a fifteen minute walk down the beach that was clear of the seafood and we made use of that. The south side of the island was totally clean.Property and area felt very safe. Bedrooms were nice and large. The extra bedroom (the sixth bedroom) is in a semi-detached building. It was fine for tow of our kids, but it was basic when compared to the other rooms (which we had assumed was the case based on the photos)."

"The home and our room were spotless. Host was very accomodating. It was windy and the seas were up when we stayed, lots of activity with Kiteboarders and windsurfers on the beach which was enjoyable to watch. Sargassum on the beach."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Playa Cozumel. Having the beach just steps away made mornings and sunsets especially nice, and the property felt quiet and private the entire time. The house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. The staff and concierge were kind and attentive, checking in when needed and helping with anything we asked. Overall, it was a very relaxed and pleasant stay, and we would happily come back."
