"I recently stayed at The Clermont London and overall had a positive experience. The standout for me was the staff — they were excellent throughout: friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel itself is fantastic in terms of location, presentation, and overall atmosphere. However, the experience was let down by the initial room we were given (Room 701). Unfortunately, it really wasn’t up to the standard expected — it felt very small, enclosed, and quite frankly more like a prison cell than a comfortable hotel room. While we did request to move, it was disappointing that we were charged £20 to change rooms, especially given the condition of the original one. In summary: great staff and a lovely hotel overall, but the first room and the charge to move did take the edge off what could have been an excellent stay."

"We were asked to do without daily room clean and accepted a complimentary bottle of wine. As we stayed for 3 nights, I felt it was too long to go without having bathroom cleaned and bins emptied. Would have been better to be offered a part service."

"Good location. Room was ok. Sink dirty and could have done witb two pillows each and larger towels and hand towels for each of us. No bath mat which was needed. "

"From checking in to departing every aspect of our experience was absolutely the best. The room was beautiful, very clean and well appointed. A waiting hospitality package and a personized greeting card was very special, and the afternoon wine meet and greet was a warm feel for everyone in attendance. I'm not from the UK but we sure felt like family. "

"The location of Riu hotel was perfect. A short 5 minutes walk to Victoria Station subway. And 3 subway stations away from London's best attractions! The breakfast was a game changer. Comparable, in variety and quality to what you get on 5* cruises! If you consider that the average price of a small cappuccino in London is 5 GBP, that buffet breakfast was amazing! "
