A cheaper solo accommodation with a private bathroom. It’s close to the bus stop, pick ups for tours are easy. The room is clean and newly renovated. It’s spacious for a single occupant. Its location is close to dining and shopping. I would stay there again if I’m back in Reykjavík.

Perfect for our family

Excellent communication, even sending a message when our room was ready for check in. Appreciate the luggage storage closet. All the amenities we needed. And the location is amazing.

This was a great apartment with a good bed and a kitchenette so that we could prepare simple meals. It is right next to the downtown, so it was easy to access dining and shopping. It was next to the Hallgrimskirkja church, so it was easy to find our way back from city walks. There was an issue with hot water, but I believe that will be resolved for future tenants.

This is in a great location in the heart of the city. Spacious room with plenty of room for 6 persons. Directions and signage to the property were very thorough and made it easy to navigate. A broken item upon arrival was rapidly repaired. Very clean place with all necessary items included (towels, linens, plates, glasses, soaps, and shampoo). I highly recommend Daydream Apts for your stay.

Was inexpensive, downtown, and comfortable. Only complaint was that the windows need to be open and there can be loud sounds outside, but there’s not much the property owners can do about that.

The location was great! Near the big church, close enough to walk to city centre for shopping, dining, etc. It is at the top of a hill, so be aware that walking to this location requires walking uphill when coming from city centre or BSI bus station. The kitchenette was perfect for us. We used the fridge and microwave every day; has a coffee machine, hot plate, frying pan, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, and sink. A few things need to be fixed in our room - toilet seat was loose, bathroom door was difficult to close all the way, the room door was difficult to lock, and adding hooks on walls would be helpful to keep things off the floor. Sent a few messages via email and the response was immediate. Really appreciated that. Overall, it was a good place to stay for a week.

Really convenient spot in a great part of the city. It was nice to leave our luggage in a locked room and explore the city while our room was getting ready and letting us know our room was ready early was awesome. Everything was great about the guesthouse we really loved it for the most part. Except the pillows really suck (though the bed was super comfortable) and if you're 6ft or taller the shower was awful. I could barely fit in it and it made it difficult to clean myself. Other than that it was a great spot.

Great location ! Only 1 negative is this. Being that there is only 1 window that opens I believe it would be helpful if a fan was provided to help with the circulation. When I was there it was 82°. It was a little difficult sleeping without air movement.

We really enjoyed staying at Day Dream L23! It was located in the heart of Reykjavík on a residential street, which made our experience of the city more authentic. The room was cozy and warm and had everything we needed. The kitchen was super useful, as we made some of our meals at home. The hotel was a short walk to shopping, dining, the harbour and public transit. Overall amazing experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

(1) Great central location, few minutes walk to the famous church, bus stop 8 next to church is for the tour and airport pickup point. Groceries shop Bonus is within 10mins walk, perfect if you want to save money. (2)the room provides microwaves, coffee machine and kettle, even cooker, very convenient. (3) The communication with hotel is brilliant, friendly and funny, very quick response to messages, provides all details for self check-in. (4) I booked breakfast, which was delivered to the door each morning, note, there was no indication or sound when food was delivered, you need to check it not just waiting inside room. The breakfast was nice but wish have some changes as every day was the same thing. To save money, you can just buy something from Bonus. (5) I stay at smallest room with private bathroom, no issues with room size, but the smell of bathroom was bit unusual, which was the only negative point, maybe due to the ventilation of building structure. Overall, value for money and good stay 👍

Really good location, right in the center. It’s tiny but also cheap, so that is fine. The only thing we disliked was that we didn’t know the emergency exit was going through our room and that meant we had emergency lights on 24/7 and they were extremely bright which made it hard to sleep. We would have brought sleep masks if we had known! The bathroom was a little messily renovated, but clean.

This property was amazing. Had guestroom with private bathroom. Check in and check out was flawless. I would add additional information about the electronic key box next to stairs. It was alittle confusing versus the email stated there was a key box outside door to room. Likewise, I would also add instructions on how to get out of the building as thr normal door handle doesnt get you out and you have to use the deadbolt know.

Host is accommodative. We arrived early morning but host was kind enough to let us check in. Room was good and clean.. close to dining, tour pick up locations and shopping. Local restaurant called Loki (highly recommended) is just in front of the apartment. Only thing was shower water was not controlled sometimes get too hot and sometimes too cold. May be it is a common issue in this area.

An amazing stay. The apartment is located very central, within viewing distance of the church, a short 10 minute walk to the main bus terminal from which most transfers to the airport operate. The area is very cozy, quiet and safe. Easy to locate and very straight forward instructions on how to get access the property. The apartment is quite small, but has all the amenities required, a small fridge, microwave and it's own bathroom. There isn't much room inside, but you shouldn't be spending much time inside, Iceland is so beautiful and you should be exploring. I couldn't recommend the apartment more, for the value it's a no-brainer. Thankyou for the stay

I would consider this more of a hostel than a hotel. The common areas (entry, halls, stairwells) looked very sketchy - as soon as I walked into the building, I considered cancelling my booking. However, the room was okay. It had what I needed, was clean enough. The water smells kind of like sulphur. The location is great for walking around Reykjavik and driving out of the city. Free parking a short walk away. If they cleaned up the entrance and slapped on a coat of paint, it might even warrant another half star.
