Excellent stay at this property! Our room overlooked rainbow street and everything was in walking distance. I enjoyed this stay and would recommend this to anyone! It’s reasonably priced as well compared to other hotels and apartments. The only thing I didn’t know before hand is that where you can store your luggage before check in is at the other Odinn Reykjavik apartments so we did have to take a taxi to drop off our luggage and pick it up once our room was ready at this location. Other than that, I would say it was a 10/10 stay!

Great location, terrible communication
My husband and I spent 5 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. We loved the location and the apartment was nice and well stocked: dishwasher, coffee maker, pots and pans were ok, silverware drawer when we finally found it, fridge and freezer, etc. Each bed had a towel which left us 6 bath towels total. And one kitchen towel. There was a notice to reach out if you wanted more towels but no one ever answered us. This was part of a longer trip and I saw there were laundry facilities so I reached out prior to our trip to ensure this was in fact the case. We packed knowing we'd have a washing machine to wash clothes. There is NO washing machine. And again, when we reached out (text, message through hotels.com, email...) there was no reply AT ALL. I have the reply from before the trip ensuring us there was a washing machine in the unit. This made it a little difficult for us and frustrating. I want to give the apartment and location all the stars but I can't. No communication and a blatant dishonesty about amenities is hard for me to accept. The note also asks you to run the dishwasher and take out all the trash. I did my part and did those things. Reluctantly but I'm a rule follower, what can I say. Downstairs (our apartment was on floor 2) is a little market which we went to daily for snacks and such. The water in the apartment is good, let it run about 30 seconds then chill and drink or drink room temp. No need to buy water every day.

I booked mid afternoon for a 1 night stay. Got to the property with my family later that evening, and found some lock boxes on a graffiti filled back alley. There way no communication from the owner on how to get in, so I was stuck on the street in winter with my family. Expedia wouldn't help. I had to re-book at another hotel so we wouldn't freeze. Owner refused to refund our money, even though the room we paid for was never made available to us. AVOID THIS PROPERTY

This property's location is superb, everything is on your doorstep, the flat was spacious and the beds were comfortable and plentiful. And it was warm - though most of us thought much too warm. However, the property needs significant maintenance and updates. The communication with the property management was poor in that they barely responded and the television didn't work at all and the internet was very patchy.

They partied all night long
Great location, but the nightlife noise was very loud on the weekends ALL NIGHT long because the bars are open until 4:00 a.m. Parking was a challenge to find and usually a few blocks away - paying through the parking app was also a little confusing and resulted in us receiving one parking ticket, which we paid at a local bank. Other than the inconvenient parking and constant loud noises from bar music and patrons (we heard all the way up to the top floor penthouse) - which kept us awake until 4am, we had a good stay.

Nice apt., great location, but bring earplugs
Convenient location, but it comes with a price -NOISE. On the weekends, the locals party very loudly and the bars are open until 4am. The streets do not quiet down until 4am. You will hear everything - from the partiers' conversations down below (we were in the top floor penthouse) to the 20-30 year olds racing up and down rainbow street to the loud bass/music coming from the bars. If you are sensitive to sound, bring ear plugs. We stayed here two separate weekends, at it was the same each time. Sunday night was much more quiet. The location was fantastic, though parking was a challenge, so if the noise and parking aren't issues for you, this is a great apartment.

Fantastic location in the heart of all the action
The property was in great condition, super clean and tidy and a fantastic location right at the heart of the walking district. Street noise outside was a bit of a factor as a bar across the street was playing loud music late into the night during our stay, which happened to be on a long weekend. Kitchen utensils could have been better stocked, as there were no sets of cutlery to use for our eat-in breakfasts.

Fantastic location in the heart of Reykjavik. Easy access to all great things in town. Bring ear plugs, noise machines and sleep masks. The bars on the street are blasting music until 4 AM from Wednesday to Saturday. Excellent amenities in apartment. We had a very comfortable stay and loved the location, noise notwithstanding. We had a problem with another Odinn property above us and their all night, very loud party. We asked them to turn off their music at 4 , 6 , and 8 AM with little success. Evidently Icelanders have a lot of repressed partying to get to after the long, dark winter. We had a great vacation and mostly overcame the noise issues.

We booked the property based on pictures of the apartment on the basis of room for four people. When we arrived the property was not even the same apartment as the pictures. The pull out couch to sleep two was broken and the bathroom was filthy with leaking plumbing. The smell was nauseating and ultimately we could not stay there and had to move to a hotel.

Reykjavik never sleeps and neither will you!
This property is located in the heart of Reykjavík and is modern as well as clean. There are a number of issues with the listing though. It states and shows pictures of a washer and dryer that are not in the unit and can not be found. The unit had plates and cooking supplies but literally only a single spoon for silverware. Also, and very important, the windows adjacent to the street do not close properly (one is swollen and both are pulled by the wind (Reykjavík is windy)), That being said, if you stay here on a weekend, bars directly outside of the unit do not close until 5:30 AM. With no sound dampening, you will be awake until they close. In the mornings, tourists like to visit the streets and proximity so by 8 AM, you can hear them as well. Upstairs neighbors can be heard scooting chairs around at all hours. The downstairs door to access the units does not lock and is a possible security concern. I would recommend this property if you plan to party every night and sleep very little. Not recommended for families or if you like more than a few hours of sleep.

The place was amazing, exactly like the pictures. Just bare in mind that if you’re staying over the weekend, there is a bar down the street that will play really loud music - won’t recommend if you need to get up early for your plane the next morning as it won’t stop until 4AM. Beside that, location was perfect as everything was a walkable distance.

This is a great place at the heart of Reykjavik - very conveniently located, spacious and comfortable. There is no onsite parking, but there is paid parking close enough. A supermarket a block away and many restaurants nearby make this an ideal location. Important to note that there is very poor signage indicating the location of the apartments, and their entrance is on the side inside a narrow street - they are very difficult to find if you don't know what you're looking for. Also note that this is at the heart of the city, and people tend to be in the streets partying until early hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper and/or like to turn in early bring earplugs!

RIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE CITY.
The apartment is in a fantastic location right in the centre of town and is extremely comfortable inside. The beds are super comfortable and the only negative would be the entrance to the apartment is in an alleyway that could put some people off. Once inside it is easy to forget that and the apartment is very well fitted out and has a full supply of cleaning materials and a well stocked larder that reduces the shopping requirements.

Best Location
This is the best location we could have ever asked for in downtown Reykjavik. It is close to everything:nightlife, shopping, museums, transportation,ect. Would recommend to anyone traveling to iceland.

Best stay of our trip! Loved our flat. Has everything you need including cookware, dining table and sofa that one can sleep on. Just a note, this is on the main square of a lot of Reykjavik's more rowdy nightlife activities. If you are looking to have a quiet and early Friday/Saturday night, this might not be your spot. Room also gets quite warm and stuffy as only one window opens, but it wasn't much of an issue. We had fun partying nearby and walking back. 3 locked doors to get to our flat which was nice because we had a bunch of camera gear with us. Will definitely stay here again!

Apartment has recently been remodeled and is very comfortable and attractive. Kitchenette is well equipped. Location is close to restaurants etc. We couldn't ever get the TV to work, but the internet connection was fine.

Spacious, centrally located to tourist shopping area, clean and well equipped with free Netflix. Public parking lot around the corner, along with a grocery store. Great check inn experience except a little hard to find. Highly recommended!

Centralt läge med nära till allting. Vi bodde i Vintage lägenheten och var 10 personer varav 4 barn. Tillgången till hela stolar runt matbordet var begränsad. Knapert med porslin till 10 personer. Bristfälliga lås i flera dörrar. Sängar och sänglinne var ok. Lägenheten var ganska kal. Lampor i fönsterna och några blommor hade gjort vistelelsen betydligt hemtrevligare.

The flat did not match the description. No washing machine, no 64" flatscreen TV (it was 32" or something), not sound-proof, window unable to close entirely, VERY much noise from the neighbours and street - especially during the weekend. I tried contacting the owner, but first they didn't answer, and second they didn't know what to do about it. The location of the flat was amazing, the kitchen was fine, bathroom likewise. There's no office space, no seperate bedroom.

Rummelig lejlighed midt på gågaden
Rummelig bolig med fed location midt på gågaden. Jeg foretrækker en moderne bolig med mere lys og moderne indretning og en updated kaffemaskine. Men det er en absolut smagssag. Lejligheden kaldes også “vintage Apartment”. Opgangen var ikke så indbydende og trænger til en kærlig hånd. Boligen indeholder dog alt hvad du skal bruge og der er super rent og varmt. Ejeren var fleksibel i forhold til check in og var super tilgængelig når man ringede for hjælp! Kan varmt anbefales hvis man kan lide vintage stilen.

エクスペディアの表示は1泊8000円程度だったのに、サービス料は税金という名のもとに13000円が課せられ、一泊は結局21000円に。他のブッキングサイトより安く泊まれる訳ではないので注意。 宿泊施設ではなく、民泊の延長でやっているので、看板なども出ておらず、セルフチェックイン方式。事前に届いていると言われたチェックイン方法が届いておらず、30分ほど雪の中立ち往生。翌日のチェックアウト後に荷物を預かってくれると言われたが、そこも無人で対応されず。電話は通じると親切だが、常に通じるわけではない。キッチンを特に使わないのであれば、普通にホテルを探した方が良いと思います。 シャワーの水も、硫黄臭がして、出も悪く、水はけも悪い。 一見綺麗で、ロケーションも良く、居心地はいいですが、かゆいところに手が届かない宿泊施設でした。アイスランドの人たちの優しさに触れるには、やはりフロントに人がいるところがいいと思います。

l'appartement est très joli, bien équipé, les matelas sont excellents. bien sécurisé grâce à une grille et une porte fermées à clé toutes les 2. Idéalement placé à côté du centre ville ! Le seul bémol étant l'insonorisation... il n'y a pas de double vitrage, et nos nuits ont été rythmés par les basses de la boite de nuit d'en face... C'est parfait pour des jeunes qui veulent faire la fête mais beaucoup moins pour une famille qui souhaite se reposer !
