A bedroom with a bed, bedside tables, a desk, and a shower area.

The Black Horse Inn, BW Premier Collection

Northallerton

8/10 Good

Nice place to stay if in the area, I’ve stayed a few times now. The accommodation was excellent as usual, clean and tidy, not sterile like some large chains, so expect imperfections with age of the property. I felt my evening meal was not to the usual superb standard, but still good and decent value. Breakfast was excellent; if you stay try the black pudding, even if you don’t normally like it; it is excellent and the best thing on the plate by far. They still won’t give me the recipe

A four-poster bed with white linens and towels, a bedside table with a lamp, and a nightstand with a mirror and a remote control.

Aoife

A bedroom with a large bed, a dark sofa, and a coffee table. There are two windows with curtains, a chandelier, and a patterned wallpaper.

The Grafton

Harrogate

8/10 Good

The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable and the tea, coffee, orange juice and biscuits were all very appreciated. I have only one little fault. I went to use the iron and never checked the face of the iron and it was all black so when I put the iron on my jacket to iron some black came off the face of the iron and blackened my jacket. I am sure it will wash out but it was a bit of a nuisance.and I could not wear it on Saturday night. It did not matter too much as Saturday...
