"What an amazing place! I booked the Economy room, which was a side door on a street literally adjacent half way up the infamous GOT shame steps! The room was great for my needs and served its purpose as a place to crash after long days. The location is in the centre of everything to do and see! The staff were friendly, amazing and accommodating allowing me a late check-out. Would highly recommend, though it might not suit al tastes. "

"Room was specious and bed very comfy, staff professional and polite. There was a bottle of Prosseco in the room but it didn't say whether or not it was on the house. "

"This was the first hotel I have stayed at on vacation where I did not want to leave the hotel. Usually a hotel is a place to sleep and shower for me. The design of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurants and bar were incredible. We had a super-romantic dinner with a table right on the water and live music. You can sunbathe and jump in the Adriatic from the beach deck. The service was incredible. Knowledgeable and friendly front desk staff and attentive room service. I cannot say enough about Hotel Excelsior"

"Great location just outside the walls near the Pile gate. Breakfast was included at the waterfront restaurant with amazing views and friendly service. We stayed in the luxury apartment, and it was clean, spacious and very comfortable, with a view of the fort. A great base for exploring Dubrovnik and relaxing inside during our one rainy day."
