The location is very, very good. Housekeeping was excellent and the rooms very clean. The kitchen (breakfast) staff was nice, attentive and a pleasure to start the day with. HOWEVER, two big negatives. First, the inside was well insulated, that is for example, no noise from closing doors, or other guests. However, we had a room overlooking the street/front of the hotel. They made noise at all hours of the night. You could hear night people emptying bottles, dealing with trash, taking deliveries, trucks coming and going and people yelling. It was not good. Second negative was the front desk. One gentleman, Dimitri, was kind professional and helpe3d us in every way. The female that worked the desk was pleasant but would not help. We tried to book a tour, but the web site was malfunctioning. We asked her to call as we are not fluent in Italian. She refused and said we could walk over there and ask. (it was raining.) The other two gentlemen we dealt with at the front desk were very short, if not rude and unpleasant. IN short, a great trip to Rome overall, this stay of which was a low point and we will not stay here again.
