"Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The property was beautifully designed and very well kept. It had great amnesties that allowed us to dine in and enjoy the wood burning stove. A short walk to the beach was also a bonus. We would definitely stay again"

"Overall the property was generally clean and basic. Alot of cobwebs (inside & out) and flies (dead and alive). The stairs to 3 bedrooms upstairs was unsafe, too steep and carpet nails and rips were dangerous throughout the house. The central heating was only warm upstairs and bearly tepid downstairs. The ensuite shower down stairs was modern, but smells of blocked & dirty drain and also had very poor water pressure. Overall we would not recommend the accommodation due to safety of the stairs."

"What a wonderfully renovated old cottage with amazing charm. On a secluded lot with lots of areas to explore. Colleen and Raymond are very hospitable. The cottage was exactly as advertised and a joy to stay at! Thank you!!"

Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million"

"Comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for each of us four ladies to have our own space. Living room and kitchen are well laid out together with open concept and access to the patio which wraps around the apartment! Great view of the town and the occasional full double rainbow. All the beds were great and shades blacked out the sun if necessary. "Cottage is lovely and easy to find the local village is walkable and has everything you would want with shops and great restaurants (reasonable prices too) the only small thing we would suggest they improve is the lighting in the kitchen which is really insufficient if you want to cook in the evening."

"The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"Very nice place to stay! Short walk to the beach. Definitely need a car to get to food. We had some amazing seafood! One of the beds was very squeaky - couldn't sleep with two people in it. Overall would recommend!"
