"Staff friendly, and room was clean and nicely presented, bar is a open plan area in front of you. All card entry and to get in after 2300. The rooms are very hot in the summer and you could do with a fan."

"We only had a short stay at the Ship Leopard hotel being a transit from train to the morning ferry. The hotel is perfectly located immediately across the street from the train station, but offered so much more. Surrounded by great restaurants, historic sites, and shopping, it turned out to be the perfect location for our visit to Portsmouth Harbor. The hotel itself is very comfortable with a friendly staff and good amenities. The room was comfortable and made for a nice stay."

"Room was good apart from the great south view from the 5 large windows has warmed to room to near sauna temp. Just a fan to stir the air with windows wide. No air conditioner. Lobby nice, indoor bar good, outside bar / resembles a basic pub garden, no interest. Breakfast let down by high price and no real coffee. Come on get a machine for proper coffee."

"Location great, staff fantastic , especially the young gentleman who check us in, very professional ! Unfortunately we could t enjoy the bar as it was booked out for a party which was disappointing but a complimentary drink was offered. Stayed in room 1, and was lovely, great bed, lovely decoration, bathroom floor gets slippy so be careful , we did have an issue with the toilet not flushing, and the net curtain in the main window has a hole in it so needs replacing . Breakfast was ok rather than great, a choice of eggs and a bacon or sausage roll , personally I Like a full English when away on a trip . However overall the experience was good and we would stay again."
