"Excellent hotel and staff"

"We stayed at The Villa for 10 days in June 2025. The Villa is situated about one mile from Rubicon Marina and about half a mile from Playa Blanca centre. We enjoy walking so we found this a very pleasant form of exercise. Though there are taxis available. There is also a new Aldi a few hundred meters away for daily provisions. The Villa itself has a spacious private parking area with the added security of an electronic gate. Upon entry to the villa it was very clean, contemporary and very well appointed with everything you’d need. The pool at the rear of the villa is once again very well appointed, spacious and with high walls making it private. We really enjoyed our stay and would return. It’s also worth noting that the organisation and support from Retreat Villas was spot on."

"Having stayed in numerous villas over the years, I can confidently say this is, by far, the best we've experienced. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been meticulously considered, offering everything one could possibly need and all to the highest specification.The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, making self-catering a breeze, and the bedrooms were equally impressive, providing comfortable and well-appointed spaces for rest. The living room truly stood out with its expansive sliding doors, which not only flooded the space with natural light but also offered a breathtaking, panoramic view of the sparkling pool and the majestic mountains beyond. This seamless connection to the outdoors created a truly serene and inviting atmosphere.Outside, the villa continued to impress. The ample seating and sunbeds provided perfect options for both sun worshippers and those seeking a cool, shaded retreat. A true highlight was the heated pool. I honestly can't imagine staying in a villa in Playa Blanca without one now – it made swimming enjoyable at any time of day and added immense value to our stay.The location was also very convenient, with the beach a leisurely 20-minute walk away, allowing us to easily enjoy the local amenities and beautiful coastline.This villa will undoubtedly be our first choice when we plan our return visit to Playa B"

"One of the most gorgeous huge hotels we have ever stayed at!! Modern deco. Loads of space everywhere. Never felt crowded. Stunning views & easy walk (10 mins to the main town) & beach (5 mins). Rooms are beautifully appointed. Buffet area large & tastefully decorated. Might be a little short on staff some days ... But not a complaint. Love that they don't charge for sparkling water!!!"
