"Clean rooms made up every day. Lovely resort. Pools could be warmer but then that's standard for all outdoor pools. I expected the indoor pool to be warmer than the outdoor though and it isn't. Gym is very dated and could do with modernising, but having said that still a better offer than most places. Second year we've been back so despite the small points it's clear we enjoy the place and woundn't hesitate to return. Not sampled the food there or the all inclusive so can't comment on that. "

"Near to most things the island has to offer. Food was varied each night. Pools kept in good condition. Rooms were neat and cleaned each day. Staff were excellent and multilingual. Would stay here again, the value for money is excellent."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Sofia. We rented a car, which for us was super. We are older and enjoyed going to a nearby gym and walking along the coast each morning. Weather was wonderful so we enjoyed hanging out by the pool in the afternoon. The Villa was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Internet was also excellent. Thank you all. "

"Caybeach Sun is fine, but I don't think we'll be back. To start our trip we were told that the two apartments that we booked for our family would be at opposite ends of the resort - even though they were booked in the same booking on hotels.com... This was frustrating and the staff seemed to have no interest in helping or attempting to rectify it so we just had to live with it. When we got to our apartment we found that the fridge had spilled orange juice in the bottom, which made us doubt exactly how clean the rest of the place was. Although the sheets did appear clean and the cleaning staff were friendly. All in all the resort is a little shabby. It's clearly an older resort that has been bought and rebranded as there are hints everywhere to the old name and logo. Appliances are old, showers were corroding in both apartments, our shower tray leaked onto the floor. A number of the pool loungers were broken so the back couldn't prop up. All in all, the resort was fine for sleeping and reasonably comfortable, just don't expect anything special. Oh and if you like privacy maybe avoid this one, a significant number of the apartments 'balconies' are just open at the front and have paths that run right next to them so you'll have people walking past as you try to relax and looking in your windows if you have the curtains open. "

"Firstly, the villa is not easy to find. First impression is that it is very dated.. Everywhere apart from the kitchen needs refurbishment. The kitchen is new and well stocked, but has an old fridge with broken shelves in the door so bottles have to go inside and gets full very quickly. The lounge only has seating for 4 people and the dining area similar. All three showers rooms need attention. Curtains are very thin, letting light in. Towels are small and of poor quality. Pool towels need to be hired! Lots of traffic noise. On plus side, Jodie is very helpful and quick to respond to problems. "

"We had a fabulous holiday and Fred was an excellent host who was friendly, accommodating and communicated well with very quick response times during our holiday planning stage.The villa was well equipped and had everything you would need to accommodate babies and toddlers as well as adults.We especially appreciated the pool being heated to a temperature that suited toddlers in February!"
