The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby was lovely and welcoming, and the bar had 80s music on Saturday evening. Breakfast at the restaurant was easy and tasty. The room was clean and comfortable beds, quiet at night too. Union Square location close to T station and BART.

This is a historic property important to the history of San Francisco. The lobby has been re-done by Phillip Stark, and was popular with young workers on weekday afternoons. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would reserve it again.
