"The bed was really old and worn out. had holes (Dips) on each side. my back was killing me after the first night. I mentioned it to the desk clerk. she was apologetic and contacted the owner to inquire about changing our room. owner did he had an upgraded room available for €35 extra. I didn't feel like I should have to pay for a decent bed a I was already paying over €240/ night. The mattress needs to be replaced. Don't stay here if you have anything less than a perfect back! The desk staff were very nice though. "

"This is a beautiful hotel from the 1870s. It’s a lovely area of town. The staff were very helpful by getting us a taxi and taking care of our luggage storage. We loved our room with a little outdoor terrace. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"Room generally clean, pillows smelt of wax though which was a bit irritating. Gym was well equipped with technogym equipment. What you would expect of a 4 star hotel. Very good location."

"Very pleasant hotel next to the river and close to many of the best tourist sites. Not cheap but reasonable for a business hotel in central Rome. On a main road but quiet. Rooftop terrace with bar and excellent views which I only found on the last night as it has a separate lift. Very good buffet breakfast included."
