"I stayed here on business recently for 2 nights. I normally stay in Gateshead but it was busy, and this one looked a good alternative. Nice comfy rooms, excellent leisure club facilities. All in all a great stay. Highly recommended "

"Lovely up market hotel. The room was very big and spacious. Not much of a view though, but in all fairness we didn’t book a room with a view specifically. The hotel is ideally located a couple of hundred yards from the train station and close to pubs, restaurants etc."

"The staff were very good. Room was big and clean and tidy. Breakfast was quite busy but food refreshed constantly. Restaurant didn’t open until 6pm but food available in bar area."
