"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Bolton town centre in a quiet location next to a church. The rooms are next to the pub and restaurant, which can be accessed by an entrance out back. If you prefer to come and go without going through the pub, you are given a key to a side entrance. My room was clean and spacious and the bed large and comfy. The bathroom was modern and clean. The restaurant has a good menu. I didn’t have time for breakfast, but it looked and smelled very good! Parking is free in the pub/hotel car park just across the road. The location is perfect, away from the centre but only a short drive to all amenities. If you like walking then it's great for that. I would stay again, especially for the price."

"Fantastic stay with Barry, Barry was very helpful, friendly, accommodating and showed us everything we needed. The annexe was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable, also a great range of breakfast options which we were not expected so a lovely bonus to the stay. The property is not far from the train station and is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thank you so much To Barry and his family for being so welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay "
