Really enjoyed the stunning view from our room. Centrally located hotel.

Pros -Enjoyed our stay at Bellevue Suite in Amalfi for our family vacation. It is a quiet hotel up the hill from the Amalfi cathedral / town. The owner was also able to provide a taxi to Rome upon request ( not included in stay costs) which worked out very well for us. We had two rooms with sea view and the views were terrific. Breakfast is available at a small extra fee which was very convenient. Cons - Coffee or tea was not included in the room ( only electric kettle provided) which was inconvenient, since we arrived jet lagged and then waited till their bar services opened up for the day. Press access was limited to late afternoons, so ended up wearing wrinkled clothes on vacation. While breakfast was quite delicious with croissants, mozzarella /tomato salad , fresh fruit juice and hot coffee, eggs were not included and only available for an extra charge. Hotel rooms are very close to the road, so we could hear the traffic from our rooms , more so if we left our doors open to enjoy the sea breeze.

Our stay at this family hotel in Positano was truly special. From the moment we arrived, Giovionni and his family made us feel like part of their own. The breathtaking views and cozy ambiance added to the charm and we loved how we were away from the crowds. As with many places in Positano, it required navigating a fair number of stairs to reach the pick-up point. However, we found this to be an adventure in itself, adding to the overall allure of the location. It's worth noting, though, that packing lightly is advisable to make the ascent more manageable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like treasured guests. Giovionni's genuine interest in our well-being and his willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort made us feel right at home. It was evident that he took great pride in his family's hotel and genuinely cared about the experiences of his guests.We're eagerly waiting to be able to go back and have recommended this gem to everyone we know. A warm welcome and incredible hospitality await those who choose this delightful hotel in Positano.

The staff were very courteous, accommodating and knowledgeable. The building is outdated but very well maintained. The parking across the highway was inconvenient and the check in parking is inadequate. The hot water was either too hot or too cold and difficult to adjust. It eventually became satisfactory. The building's common areas including the dining room are very attractive. The grounds are exceptional as are the pool and spa.

I chose a Standard Room with a partial sea view. I did not realize the other "part" of my view would be a busy shipping port. Also, even though AC was included, it could not be controlled by the occupant, and my room got rather warm.
