"Place was ok. Bed was fantastic. It was extremely busy as it is close to the cruise port and there was an event at Bayside across the street. Biggest issues is the homeless all around that won't leave you alone, all the people smoking just outside the front door, the parking is $63 per night or $84 per night if you valet, and the amenities fee is outrageous. We got there after the amenities were closed and still got charged the over $100 fee for something we couldn't use. It would have been a better stay if the amenities fee was waved and parking was half the price. Otherwise, the place is overpriced for a cruise hotel."

"East hotel is Exellent! Very clean! The staff was very well organized! It's connected to a mall! Great restaurants. Great view from everywhere in the hotel. Awesome hotel! A recommendation that I have is to add a mini refrigerator. The restaurants in the hotel are great!!! So that will give us a place to store the extra food from the restaurants. Instead of throwing the great food away."

"Great beach view.... Butttt they do charge a resort fee for $50 dollars that is not included in fees when booking and then on top of that charge for umbrellas when you get to the beach.. seems pretty excessive to me."

"We went the first week of September. The check in was perfect, our room was ready early. The room was very clean. The bathroom had a great shower with a rain shower head. The bed had a great mattress if you like it in a the softer side. There are blackouts blinds in the bedroom and I. The leaving room. The kitchen was very well furnished and equipped. We did not miss anything during the stay to cook in. There are no garbage chute at the floor level. We had a washer/dryer unit. Very practical after a beach day. The hotel guest get 2 long chairs at the beach per room which is great as it is expensive to rent (20 USD per chair per day). It should include as well an umbrella per room but since it is not currently offered, you will need to pocket out 30USD for an umbrella per day- which is ridiculous- a quick trip at Walmart or Publix resolved this problem where we got 2 big umbrellas for $18 USD each. The boardwalk is good, did not really love it but nice for a change at night. If you want to extend your room past 11am, you can do up to 2pm but the place does not offer it complementary - $75 USD for 3 hours is expensive. Overall, good place to stay, the premises was quiet. The beach was very nice and not too busy- got busy during Labor Day weekend but otherwise very relaxed."
