"My mum and I loved our stay . We definitely loved the location as it was extremely close to relatives in the area. Our hosts were fantastic. At the beginning ofour stay the provided milk, bread and some other essentials. Lovely touch . The place is warm and cozy and walkable to many restaurants & pubs nearby . "

"The house was small and cosy, with a view of the sea from main bedroom. Garden was big, but a shared one with the house you go past to gain access to the property( also there appears to be a small dog that lives there). It was clean and had the necessary equipment required.On a lovely day the front door was left open for a breeze to come through off the sea which was so relaxing."

"Our lodge was clean and tidy and provided a perfect base to explore the area.The location was idea and just a few hundred yards from the beach.There are some great places to dine at in Mersea, including the Michelin starred Stark and also the lovely Seafood by Dawn."
