We love it here! A great place to stay and relax by the water and with amazing views. A great pool and tiki bar. The room is always clean and the people accommodating. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

The condo was exactly as described. Had everything we needed. Perfect location for us. Easy walk to Publix and a couple restaurants. Everyone at the condo and Tiki Bar are friendly. The beach wasn't too crowded. We love coming to Island Inn!

Only thing we would complain about would be that we had a hard time finding an outlet to charge our phone next to the bed and no bluetooth capabilities.

Fantastic location

Locatoon, location, location! The biilding is right on the beach, and we enjoyed walking straight out and leaving the world behind. The balcony is relaxing to sit with coffee and watch for dolphins. Shopping and dining are short distances. We thoroughly enjoyed the brief escape from every day life and look forward to returning.

Beautiful view, nice beach. Uncomfortable balcony furniture and the cleaning crew needs improvement!! As mentioned by others, it has a musty odor. Bed was comfortable. If there are other choices for your stay, take one, but if you need a place to stay in this area on the beach, it will work.

Enjoyed our time

The stay was very good. The only negative thing I would say is the room smelled musty and the room needed a better cleaning. (we purchased air freshner and Clorox wipes). The bathroom didn't look like it had been swept and the dust on the alarm clock and coaster was thick. It had not been wiped down for a while. We cleaned the room as soon as we went to the store and purchased Clorox wipes. Othewise, we had a nice, relaxing time.

Great location, close walk to beach, friendly staff, simple studio condo

The Island Inn is in a great Treasure Island location with condo right on the beach. Staff was friendly. Pool area small, but clean and well kept. Condo is simple and could use an update. We chose this specific condo unit, even thou other options were available for the same dates, because of the decor and look of the linens; however, we were disappointed that it was not as clean as expected (found greasy dishes and dust on furniture) and advertised. The coverlet did not fit the bed, it was for a queen, not king, so fell sort and did not represent what we THOUGHT we were receiving. We don't expect the colors/linens to be exact, but they have to be close if you're representing the unit in photos. Overall, location, location, location when close to restaurants, shops and other activities. Suggest renting a cabana, it has it's perks!

One and Done!!

First room we were given was dirty. Smeared gunk on the trash can, old trash in the can. Manager was excellent and gave us another room which was better. Only killed 3 roaches while we were in the room.... yeah roaches. Cigarette butts, smashes plastic bottles all over the beach, I have pics If you want. Parking is a pain. Fri-Sunday a huge Hispanic group (30+) took over the pool and the grill from 11am - 11pm. Grilling constantly and it smelled amazing!! BUT there was no room for anyone else to use the grill, so we left steaks in the freezer...can’t fly home with them. This just wasn’t our week.. everything seemed to go south. Worst week we’ve stayed in 20 years, but we normally don’t stay in a large complex, and this is why. This wasn’t the place to “ get away and relax” now we know. Tiki Bar was nice, and the employees were great.

Would stay/rent again!

Everything was great and matched what was said and shown in the pictures. Though it’s a relatively small studio, for us it was just fine. This was a staycation for us as we are both from Florida. However, we were both coming from two different parts of Florida so we had two cars to park. When I inquired with the property management company before renting if parking two cars would be a problem they said no. However when we arrived we were told we needed to park in the public pay to park area. Though it was right next door, the cost to park the car overnight for two nights was going to cost more than the a nights stay. So after going back to the front desk, and explaining that this high unplanned cost was cost prohibitive, the clerk was nice enough and gave me a second parking pass. The clerk at the front desk was very helpful, understood the situation and did the right thing by resolving our parking issue. So my only recommendation is to make sure you have something in writing when things don’t go as planned as the clerk could have easily not given us a second parking pass.

Nice getaway!

First night was rough, but the rest of our trip was amazing! Beautiful view! Beautiful beach! Tiki Bar is a great addition! Clean establishment. Limited parking on property.

Ocean view

The ocean view was wonderful. The inn was very clean and tiki bar was fun. The pool was very nice as well.If I were to give some teeny tiny suggestions- it would be the bed spread needs to be replaced and the walls need to be painted with a different color trim might make it look refreshed. Couch and some furnishing are a bit tried, but coffee maker very nice.It was a great place!

Had a good Stay

We did have a good stay. The only issue was there was a slight musty odor when we arrived. We also pulled out a spare comforter and it was dirty. I still give it a solid 4. Hopefully Treasure Island can totally recover soon.

Amazing Location, Great Value

To me, this is the perfect spot to stay when you want to go truly enjoy the beach/area for a reasonable cost and don’t need the convenience/luxury of a nice hotel. We are a childless couple in our late 30s and were traveling for a wedding/extra chill days and it was just right for us. We will be back. Pros: - literally on the beach, a very nice part of it. Our 4th floor room had a balcony overlooking a beautiful beach - great value compared to other spots nearby - friendly staff - pretty clean - comfortable bed/couch/dining set (minus flat pillows) - Nice kitchenette. We didn’t use it for much but it was well-equipped - We didn’t try the tiki bar or pool, but it looked great - Parking is easy, free for 1 vehicle, and on premises Cons: - TV is small, old, and not smart. You shouldn’t be wasting your time on tv here anyway :) - The listing said coffee was provided but I arrived and there was none. They resolved it the next morning. Things to know: - soap, shampoo, etc is enough for like 1 use, not as much as you’d get in a hotel and not replenished - If maintenance or anyone needs to enter your room for some reason while you’re gone, it will deactivate your room keys.
