"Super clean and low key hotel. Breakfast at the restaurant was great at times other times staff seemed confused as to who was servicing our table. Food was pretty good but pricey. Sad that the Jazz lounge is closed for summers. I would stay here again."

"For a night or two in the city it was a great place to stay, my only complaint would be the elevator situation being there’s only 1 it gets pretty crowded fast."
"Stayed for a concert at Pier 17- nice part of Manhattan- actually clean, happy people, no one trying to kill me. Hotel was great with awesome views on the 20th fl. No cockroachs, bedbugs or rats- win!
If you go with the hotel's parking partner ($52/24hrs) just know you'll haul your luggage for a 5min walk. "
"I had a fantastic experience with Public. Air Canada went on strike and only a few us arrived. We booked a suite and they accommodated us to a smaller room and refunded us for the bigger one. Unfortunately the first night, there were a couple fighting the room right next to us. And we told the hotel, they upgraded us to a nicer room the next day and also compensated us for the night before. And I had to stay one extra night and they just let me stay in the same room for a basic room price. Overall the staff were so friendly and I really enjoyed my time there. 5 star! And I will come back again. The only thing is at the restaurant below. The restaurant wasn’t super clean, it had hair on the couches. It doesn’t seem like they do a through clean of the breakfast restaurant. "
