"Very nice hotel. Good food and great atmosphere. Rooms very large and go with the historic feel of the hotel / pub We were very lucky to be their on a Friday night as they had an amazing live singer who kept us entertained all night (along with the locals as well) "

"We loved the Beach house! We were on a road trip out to Skye, but it was a beautiful, serene spot for one night. Very clean room with some snacks and coffee, which was nice after a long day. Beautiful view! I'd mention the the king size bed is not a standard US king size, more like a queen. We were planning on sharing a large bed with our little one, but the bed was not big enough for that - luckily there was 2 twins so in addition, so there was enough room for the 4 of us. Great restaurant over at the Lodge on Loch Lomond. We had a wonderful dinner there."

"Parking was fine as we got there before car park filled up. There are no shops nearby. Our room had only a drip of cold water coming out the tap. The bed was sagging and the kettle was rusty inside. Apart from that it was warm and clean. "

"We could only get wifi in the bar; no use of our phones in our room. The shower is a hand held in a big tub. Water pressure could be stronger. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast which was included. We also had a delicious dinner in their restaurant. Lovely views of the lake if you book a room on that side of the building."

"I have rated this stay high because it was excellent value for money. Obviously the area and views are outstanding. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We decided to have dinner at the hotel because they had great options and the Korma we ordered was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was delicious and fresh and we were so impressed with the quality of the food for the price. It’s my 2nd time staying at this hotel and it’s been pleasant both times. It is much cheaper than other options in the area and I can honestly say the food was 10/10. We also had a great restful sleep! They have a hot tub & sauna for guests to use and the pool table was free to use for guests also, which was ideal. Thank you, we will come again!"

"Overall experience fab! My problem is solely with Hotels.com as when we arrived after booking a room for two adults and a child and then got to our room to see one double bed I popped and asked the reception about it and the (I think) manager of maybe the place or restaurant had a look for me and explained once booked through hotels.com they just pick a room and unfortunately our family rooms are all booked out and have no put up beds. With this we thought, look we are here one night, let’s just make it work,so we did. We met some friends downstairs in the restaurant at 5 for a meal and my goodness the food!! I had Katsu chicken and it was to die for. So so tasty! Followed by a chocolate brownie, wow! The food was top notch. Hubby had a bacon and cheese burger and our daughter had the kids nuggets and they also both enjoyed very much! We then went up to our room and our view was just stunning, overlooking the sea and both in daylight and at night was beautiful! We got up in the morning and there was a HUGE range of breakfast items laid out (continental) from toast, croissants, pastries, yoghurts, a good variety of cereals and so on with hot and cold drinks. My husband had the Scottish breakfast and I had eggs Benedict, again - stunning food! Would definitely come back to stay but would book direct! Thank you all"
