"The toal experience was extremely good. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Vivid. The room was great, fantastic service from all staff and the pool area were great with a good variety of places. Food was excellent! The only thing we would like to point out is the ambience at the indoor restaurants. This was not cozy and way too noisy. Some sound reduction would be good to put up to bring the sound down. With the extremely hard walls, it was almost impossible to have a conversation inside. This made us choose the out-door restaurants (Pelican and also the ouside are in the Asian restaurant). However, this limited the over-all really great food. "

"The location was perfect - just a block off 5th Ave shopping and restaurants. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop pools and bar were fun, but if you are looking for a poolside vacation, there were only 5-6 pool chairs so it was difficult to snag one. We stayed for 5 days and would definitely stay here again."

"this is a brand new hotel, everything are in mind condition.. beautiful space beautiful decor and very simple and minimalistic .. hotel is in a great location 1 block from 5th ave and 1 block from the ocean and the famous mamitas beach club.. staff was excellent , breakfast was good with some good choices .. pool is on the roof and has amazing views .. this is a small hotel maybe 30 rooms but exactly what you need if you are visiting g playa del carmen.. "

"The hotel staff were very accommodating. Helping pay for our car parking, offering very good restaurants to eat at and keeping the place clean. We had a bottle of wine in our room upon arrival and daily cleaning service. Yes, there is a bar off La Quinta Avenida that plays loud music in the evening, but this is part of staying in the area. We didn't find it bothersome at all. Great location. Highly recommend!"
