"To start off, on arrival the staff try to sell you on various items, even though we had already purchased two additional excursions through the hotel. Then, when we "booked" our days for excursions with the staff member, we came down on the booking date and it turns out they didn't actually book what we paid for. And, we had to try to scramble to make new reservations. We could barely get a chair/bed for lounging, only ever spot was quite the distance from the pool. Around the pool the chairs were constantly full and the lounge beds around the pool were "reserved" (must pay extra 80$ US) but no one was there most of the time so they stayed empty. As for service, we had 1-2 good days... but, for the most part had to flag staff down for drinks/food (we always made sure to tip). Otherwise the food is great, the hotel is nice, rooms are spacious and it is in a great area."

"First time doing an all inclusive and we reallly enjoyed every part of it. Anything you could possibly need for the trip was provided by the hotel such as waters soda beer and snacks in your room and a 24 hour lounge that had a bar and plenty of options for late night snacking. We loved the cafe by the lobby which had coffee pastries and ice cream. For breakfast they always had fresh squeezed orange juice and so much variety we never got tired of the food even after 9 days. For the other restaurants you do need to make sure to make a reservation with the concierge a day prior. All the food was great as well as the drinks at every restaurant in the hotel. Although you don’t need to leave the hotel it was nice to be so close to the famous 5th street to simple walk around at night so that was a big plus. They had two really nice set ups for pools. The main one had music and activities and clearly it was more of a party pool but they also had a more quiet pool area with a more relaxed vibe with great bar service. I will say that our favorite part of the trip was how beautiful the rooms were there was a tub inside the room and a hammock on the balcony and 24hour room service which made the stay extra special. There was a lot of seaweed that made it hard to use that beach but it didn’t affect our stay at all. We chose to tip the staff during our stay when we could due o how attentive they were 😃 "

"Easy check in. Had a cute balcony. Spacious suite. The rooftop was the highlight of the hotel. 3 pools with a view. Walking distance from 5th. Antonio was a great host and communicated issues with their internet issues. Unfortunately I had no connection while I was there. Antonio was friendly and shared a few vouchers to compensate. Small gestures go a long way. Would definitely recommend."

"Very nice, modern hotel. Short walking distance to Playa del Carmen beach and the famous 5th street with shops, bars, restaurants, and great people watching. The hotel has a very good buffet breakfast; rooms are spacious and modern. I highly recommend Fiesta Inn Playa del Carmen…HOWEVER: bring earplugs. All the rooms face the ocean and the close proximity to 5th street bars means it is VERY noisy starting around 9pm and lasting way beyond 2am."
