"I loved the fact that the children I with had many options to do. A lot of activities and having the waterpark right in front of our room was amazing. The staff were really helpful in making sure our group was in the same building and some of us were side by side or on the same floor. I had an issues with cockroaches in my room and one of the night staff, I believe his name was Oscar, made sure we were moved to another room quickly. He then had us moved again, so we were back facing the pool. I now these things are not in the control and wasn’t mad at the staff for this. Just happy they accommodate my family so quickly. Our new room had no issues at all. Guest services, was great as well, I do forget the gentleman’s name that got me complementary late check out for my inconvenience. This was very helpful since we had small children with us and pick up was in the evening. I absolutely love all the wildlife on the resort. I saw the crocodile, raccoons, coatis, lizards, a deer, and my favourite, the monkeys. The downside for me, was the beach and how rocky it was. Some rocks are so big that the children weren’t able to enjoy it and never wanted to go back in. The staff did a great good at cleaning the sargassum. Even though it made the water look brown and difficult to see where the rocks were. I love the ocean since I don’t live near one. I just wish the rocks weren’t an issue."

"The staff were most accommodating and nice. The resort was beautiful and well kept. The rooms were amazing with comfortable beds. I loved the pool. Due to bad weather, the access to beach was limited. However, the staff tried to be accomadating to make the experience pleasant."

"The resort was very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. The food was average and may not appeal to people who are used to authentic, high-quality cuisine. The service overall was okay. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the ocean because there was an excessive amount of seaweed. I have never seen so much seaweed on a beach before, and it made swimming impossible. What really made our stay better was the waitress her name REYNA at the beach bar. She was always attentive and brought us great drinks. She even went out of her way to bring a special drink and a cake for my daughter’s birthday. I had informed the resort in advance that it was my daughter’s birthday and hoped they would do something special, but unfortunately, the resort did not acknowledge it. Thanks to the beach bar waitress, my daughter still felt celebrated, and we truly appreciated her kindness and excellent service"

"The resort is very run down, 3 of the restaurants shut down during our stay. I visited this resort 4 years ago and everything was amazing. This go around I’ve realized the amount of Americans / English speaking people at the resort (little to none). No one truly understands you what’s so ever, with the little Spanish I knew I was able to get fairly everything I asked for (be prepared). During our stay this time they have influenced there “Royal Elite Program” much firmer, restricting you as an average person from 2 pools and a restaurant as well as priority booking. Mentioning the booking there is a huge flaw within there design because normal people can book 24hrs before the time but royal elite can book as much as they would like causing way less booking times in general and with the main buffet closed we just stayed in the room with no dinner for the night because of how packed the only other “non reservation restaurant”. If you happen to stay in building 73, the hot water does not work (next door neighbors also agreed) along with the first 2 days (no a/c) except about 2 gallons of water on the floor from the damaged unit. Please be aware when going here, unless you plan on dishing out the money for there superior treatment you will get no more care than a front lady at motel 6. Servers and Housekeeping amazing, management not so much. I will personally not be returning along with my family of 22 people who just cancelled their rooms for the first week of July. Thanks"

"Property is gorgeous and easy to move about and enjoy the properties many pools and restaurants. Not sure if preferred was fully worth the price because the roof pool and restaurant although cool not much to see from up there. Beach was nice but don't come if you really want a beautiful beach. Rooms are the crem de la crem and have wonderful appointments. The drinks are a little on the weak side as I wasn't getting much from them. Definitely make reservations at the restaurants you want explore. Overall I'd give it a 89%. We also had nightly weddings near our room but they are courteous about ending them at a decent time."
