"First time in Mexico for a mother-daughter birthday trip and we could not have found a better place to stay. The amenities and resort itself are top tier but the staff truly are what set this place apart from the rest! Daniel who helped up make last minute plans and called us a taxi to 5th avenue in Playa Del Carmen when our Viator excursion fell through. He even went as far as to check in with us to make sure we were able to get a refund, and asked if we had fun when we arrived back. To our house keeper Anabel, who personalized our room cleaning based on our preferences (early versus end of day) and who also gave suggestions on good place to visit and shop, and was always down to chat a bit. We will absolutely be asking to stay in one of her rooms next time, she was the absolute best! Esfrain, who always made sure our mini fridge was stocked full of water and OJ that my mother loved. Jaime who helped us with our bags when we arrived answered my questions about currency and how to pay in Mexico and always greeted us with a smile when seeing us around the resort and helped us with our bags on the last day, and waved us goodbye as we drove away. Cristobal our waiter when we ate breakfast and provided tips on surviving the humidity (we as New Englanders were struggling the first day!). The attendant at the gift shop who gave us tips on how to cram the last minute Mexican chocolate into our carry-ons when we went to "look" 20 minutes before checking out. Thank you!"

"I cannot rave enough about this resort! The staff is outstanding!! They were very attentive, professional, and kind. The grounds are taken care of and they keep every thing clean and maintained. The room we had overlooked the garden area and it was a nice sized room with a jacuzzi tub in it. Our group appreciated the variety of the food. We tried three of the specialty restaurants and loved everything we ate. The buffet food was good and it had a good variety of choices as well. We enjoyed the pool every day. It is huge! We never felt cramped or overcrowded. We would definitely recommend Hyatt Vivid to our friends and we will visit again in the future."

"My wife and I recently stayed at the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya from June 28th to July 3rd, and we had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. This resort exceeded every single one of our expectations! Here are a few highlights from our stay: The Pool: Absolutely spectacular and incredibly clean. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun every day. The Staff: Simply amazing! Every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their hospitality is unmatched. The Food: Excellent! Every meal was delicious, with a fantastic variety of options that kept us looking forward to every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Rooms: Spotless, beautiful, and so comfortable. Coming back to such a clean and inviting room each evening made our vacation feel truly luxurious. We cannot recommend the Valentin Imperial enough to everyone looking for the perfect Mexico getaway. We will definitely be visiting again in the future! Thank you for an incredible vacation!"

"The good: great pools, great food variety and quality of food was good and restaurants were really good, great gym, rooms were really nice and relatively quiet. The bad: wifi is terrible, dinner reservation system was a joke. Not their fault but the seaweed shut the beach down the whole trip so no beach access at all. The resort itself was lovely but I won’t go back to Cancun due to seaweed."

"The staff was great, the entertainment was great. The beach smelled because of seaweed and the food was just ok. Making reservations at the restaurants were annoying, you have too basically get up at midnight to make reservations for the next day. I would stay there again"
