"Here's a polished Expedia review you can use: My stay at the Platinum Yucatan Princess was excellent from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax throughout the trip. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making our stay enjoyable. The drinks were some of the best I've had at an all-inclusive resort, and the food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety. One of the highlights was our swim-up room. The location was perfect, offering easy access to the pool and a relaxing atmosphere throughout the day. The resort also offered a great selection of activities, so there was always something fun to do. Overall, this resort exceeded my expectations. Between the beautiful accommodations, amazing food and drinks, excellent staff, and great activities, I would highly recommend the Platinum Yucatan Princess to anyone visiting Cancun and would gladly stay here again."

"I loved the fact that the children I with had many options to do. A lot of activities and having the waterpark right in front of our room was amazing. The staff were really helpful in making sure our group was in the same building and some of us were side by side or on the same floor. I had an issues with cockroaches in my room and one of the night staff, I believe his name was Oscar, made sure we were moved to another room quickly. He then had us moved again, so we were back facing the pool. I now these things are not in the control and wasn’t mad at the staff for this. Just happy they accommodate my family so quickly. Our new room had no issues at all. Guest services, was great as well, I do forget the gentleman’s name that got me complementary late check out for my inconvenience. This was very helpful since we had small children with us and pick up was in the evening. I absolutely love all the wildlife on the resort. I saw the crocodile, raccoons, coatis, lizards, a deer, and my favourite, the monkeys. The downside for me, was the beach and how rocky it was. Some rocks are so big that the children weren’t able to enjoy it and never wanted to go back in. The staff did a great good at cleaning the sargassum. Even though it made the water look brown and difficult to see where the rocks were. I love the ocean since I don’t live near one. I just wish the rocks weren’t an issue."

"The resort is very run down, 3 of the restaurants shut down during our stay. I visited this resort 4 years ago and everything was amazing. This go around I’ve realized the amount of Americans / English speaking people at the resort (little to none). No one truly understands you what’s so ever, with the little Spanish I knew I was able to get fairly everything I asked for (be prepared). During our stay this time they have influenced there “Royal Elite Program” much firmer, restricting you as an average person from 2 pools and a restaurant as well as priority booking. Mentioning the booking there is a huge flaw within there design because normal people can book 24hrs before the time but royal elite can book as much as they would like causing way less booking times in general and with the main buffet closed we just stayed in the room with no dinner for the night because of how packed the only other “non reservation restaurant”. If you happen to stay in building 73, the hot water does not work (next door neighbors also agreed) along with the first 2 days (no a/c) except about 2 gallons of water on the floor from the damaged unit. Please be aware when going here, unless you plan on dishing out the money for there superior treatment you will get no more care than a front lady at motel 6. Servers and Housekeeping amazing, management not so much. I will personally not be returning along with my family of 22 people who just cancelled their rooms for the first week of July. Thanks"
