The grounds of this property were beautiful. The staff were attentive and very friendly. What we were highly disappointed in was not one restaurant took reservations and several restaurants had up to 38 tables ahead of us resulting in at least a 2 1/2 wait. Even though we stayed on the upgraded Impressions side every restaurant had many items on the menu that had an outrageous upcharge. It was not ALL inclusive. An example of this was at one of the restaurants there was a $190 usd charge for a steak. At the steakhouse Ember every steak except for one had an additional charge. The sushi restaurant advertised an Omakase experience. This was $150 per person. We've been to several Cancun/ Riviera Maya area 5 star all inclusive adults only resorts at least 9 times and never experienced anything like this. For this reason we wouldn't return to this resort.

Impressions exceeded my expectations and was one of the best all inclusive resorts I have ever stayed at. Jorge at the pool gave incredible service and always cracked jokes with me and my fiancée. Jose did an excellent job with the entertainment and it was a pleasure to interact with him each day. Mariela and Francisco were our butlers and they did such an amazing job. They were very attentive and went out their way to make our vacation special. This place felt like home and my fiancée and I cannot wait to go back.

Stayed 5nights in Impressions. Well worth it. 5/5 stars for service from staff all around the property. Only thing I would ding (cause of the the American fatty in me) is that the room service options for food is lacking. All I want is a pizza or chicken strips after a day of being by the pool and skipping dinner. Go and have a great time, you won't be disappointed!!
