"Gorgeous building with interesting historical links and facts. Breakfast was nice, if a little pricey"

"A lot of thought has been put into making this a most comfortable stay."

"Food and staff both excellent as always."

"Good sized room and bathroom. No safe in the room and on the second morning, housekeeping didn't shut the door properly so anyone could have just wandered in. I'd booked room only so can't comment on breakfast. A pleasant stay, however and location is perfect."

"Only had one night here, but was impressed with how friendly and accommodating the owner and staff were, and the quality of the food. Parking very convenient, nice location in the Cotswolds, perfect for what was needed."

"Very helpful staff, great breakfast and a picturesque location on the river great for a one night stop off only 5 mins from the motorway."

"Good location for us"

"Ours was a five night stay in The Old Paper Shop. Located on a busy road however night time noise was minimal. Once our car was parked we could walk everywhere for shopping, drinks at the pub and visiting the sites. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower (great after a hard days walking). Kitchen was very well equipped. The key safe check in process was easy and efficient. Very much an old world charmer with lots of character, which was as I expected, cosy but perfect for two. Definitely...

"We were never given check in information and no one would respond to our messages or answer the phones. We did not stay here and still trying to recoup our money from this experience. Scam!!!"

"Lovely place to stay, just a few mins walk from the centre of cheltenham. The couple that run it are very welcoming and the guest house immaculate. I would highly recommend. Thank you - Anne x"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and hotel area was dated and rough round the edges but clean. My bed had a dent down the centre so prominent it felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. Over all, for the location it was good value for money."

"Spotlessly clean hotel and everything thought about, would definitely stay again"

"Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Very quaint and historic setting for a cozy stay and meals were great!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. I was a little surprised that the faucet in the bathroom was very loose, as was the toilet tissue roll holder. Not a big deal, but had me question attention to detail."

"Comfortable accommodation with friendly professional staff."

"Fantastic one night stop over at the Eckington Manor. Excellent service from the staff, lovely room, delicious dinner."
