"Check in was simple and easy, Room was a lovely size with a king size bed. Bathroom was clean and tidy with a walk in shower and rainfall shower. Breakfast was good, typical buffet with hot and cold options. All the staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. "

"Had a great room at front on top floor with great sea view. Room and hotel were clean. Did not have breakfast. Possibly understaffed. One night we got back at 9:30 and bar was closed. Lift was out Ok for us but was a problem for some other guests. Would probably use again . Hard to choose between this and the nearby voco."

"The room wash clean. The staff were friendly. The room was falling apart. Couldn't close bathroom door. Toilet seat kept slipping off the toilet. Bunkbed needed tightening up as very wobbly. So we moved top mattress to the floor. Swimming pool was lovely. Had shower room afterwards with no hot water at all. Great location. Rooms are probably prone to being trashed. If you are looking for somewhere to just put your head at night, then it is great. Don't expect anything else. "

"Free parking which is so handy. The room was much better than expected and was clean and comfortable. I think we lucked out on the room we got. Decent for cheap I didn’t really see any staff other than one man who wouldn’t let us in the building after we had returned. We had to get our friend who had already to come home to let us in and then he made us stay so he can check the room was booked for 3 - despite me saying it was booked for 3. In one sense this is good for safety but another sense we were three young girls in early twenties with an older man who was getting aggy with us. But I do understand it’s for safety ? When trying to find a staff at reception to ask about parking no one was there and did not come for ages so we just left it. "

"Stayed herer for 3 nights over Easter weekend,enjoyable stay,very clean and very well equipped.Cozy lounge with free view t.v.,books dvd's and some games,well equipped kitchen with everything on hand from condiments to washing powder,and tea and coffee,great selection of crockery and cooking utensils and bowls for the dog.Practical shower room/toilet and a nice bedroom with a comfy bed,had 3 really good sleeps Property was nice and warm when we arrived from the heating which we actually turned down as it was so warm.The beach is less than 2 minutes walk across the road.The road is quite busy during the day and evenings but didn't bother us once indoors.We walked into Folkestone along the seafront twice which took about 45 minutes and was very pleasant.Sandgate high street has plenty of coffee shops to get your early morning brew if required. The parking space at the rear of property is a bit tight but is a bonus,as it leads down i few steps to the back door of the property.Communication with the owner was excellent when i had a few questions prior to arrival. Overall a very nice stay in a nice property and wouldn't hesitate to book again if i was in this area. Thank you to the owners."
