"Lovely hotel stay for a couple of nights. Right on seafront with lots of restaurants and pubs within very easy walking distance. Had a great cooked breakfast included as well. "
"Very good value and the breakfast is a bargain.
Visiting in a heatwave, it perhaps wasn't ideal to be in one of the south facing bay window rooms with a sea view as it got quite hot, but any other time of year would be fine.
The shower was a little on the small side but worked fine."
"The hotel and gardens are beautiful - immaculate garden perfect for a pre dinner cocktail. Was very impressed with the decor and high standard of furnishings - should be a wedding venue or offer cream teas. We had an amazing dinner - cannot fault the food or drink!! "

10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful little hotel. I normally shy away from smaller hotels and go for the big name brands, but this hotel had good reviews and there were limited options in Margate. What a revelation. It’s a fabulous hotel. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfortable and they had thought of everything. I loved the little pantry for snacks, the radio and record players were nice touches and the robe and slippers are always welcome. The view was great too. Breakfast was delicious. I will definitely be back if I’m sent to Margate again with work or for a mini break "
"This is a gem of a place.
So,cosy, quiet even though in the old town.
So tastefully decorated inside and the patio areas.
Lovely teas to sample in the room.
Paul was helpful and charming when I finnaly found him!
Fabulous stay"
"We rented the property for four nights. The house is very tastefully decorated and there's plenty of space if you are a large family. The property was clean and the kitchen equipped with the basics required to prepare meals. However, the internet connection was appalling and constantly buffering, and as a self-employed small business owner was unable to work on several occasions. The internet also meant that in the evening it was impossible to watch a film on the smart TV without constant interruptions and error codes being generated. Additionally, there was an unpleasant odour emanating form the upstairs toilet. The location of the property was perfect for Dreamland and Margate beach but the street the property is on is a little run down which is a shame because it is no reflection of the standard of the property it's fixtures and fittings. The beds are very comfortable, however the storage space is somewhat limited with no proper wardrobes or chest of drawers in the main bedrooms with double beds, which may be an issue if staying for a longer period of time. All things considered I would recommend this house if you are after decent accommodation in Margate."
Boutique Central Margate Apartment - Edge of Old Town!
8/10 Good
"My friends & I enjoyed our stay at the flat. We found the beds comfortable & the location ideal re: its proximity to the beach, restaurants & shops.
We appreciated having a washing machine to use and good cooking facilities too. We also found the flat comfortable.
Unfortunately, the plumbing in the shower & toilet were faulty &, as a result, proved quite time-consuming & frustrating to deal with. :-( The water didn’t drain during showers, & the difficulty re: flushing the toilet properly proved to be both frustrating & a real embarrassment at times. Although we were definitely warned about this in advance & informed that we’d have to use the “macerator” to solve the problem, it didn’t always work. I would have appreciated it if this particular issue had been completely resolved prior to our 5 day stay, in fairness. Otherwise, it was a lovely flat! "
