9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,080 reviews)
Pleasantly surprised with everything about our stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating, room was better than expected, nice roof terrace and right next to a ferry port so easy access to Brooklyn or if you’d like to get a $4.50 ride up to Roosevelt and get the cable car over to Manhattan.
Only 2 downsides but wouldn’t put me off staying again:
1. Shower does overflow into the rest of the wet room unless you put a towel down as a barrier.
2. A little further from a subway for commuting to the rest of the city than we are used to when staying in NY. Depending on where you are going, one is 5 mins away and the other is 10 minutes away. But like I said, the ferry is an amazing alternative.

Small room considering the price. More space would be appreciated. My room didn’t have a mini refrigerator or space for nothing but bed, shower and sink all together. Good on cleanliness.

7.4/10 Good! (9,551 reviews)
"The hotel was nicer than expected, the elevators were great. The full size bed felt on the small side, but the room was great and location was wonderful. Right across the street from a subway station we used frequently. We did have to pay a destination tax which came out to $40 per day, just a heads ..."

9/10 Wonderful! (2,295 reviews)
"For as much as we spent for this “luxury” hotel, we were sorely disappointed. The rug in our room was coming apart. The pillows were flat. The shower was disgusting. The toilet barely flushed and continually ran. We notified maintenance, but nothing was done. When working with the concierge to book ..."
