"If I could leave a minus rather than a 1 star I would. Atrocious staff - reception and management. Absolutely clueless with knowing how to deliver an efficient service. They subjected me to walking into MY allocated room to find a couple having “playtime”. They falsely advertised half price meals in January 2026 and then charged full price stating it was only valid until 29/01…..! No covenants on the advertising to validate this. ASA and Trading Standards are now investigating. Pool area and changing rooms are inferior and need modernising. Electricity tripped out constantly, rude electrician and lack lustre staff not wanting to take any responsibility. I would never stay in a best western again. I have PTSD about people gaining entry into my room and now have to sleep with a chair or similar against the door to feel protected. Avoid this property at all costs. "

"We have just checked out from our 2 night stay. It has been an amazing experience with our 2 young children. Facilities and room were excellent. Kids enjoyed the pool and driving Range. The food was excellent at the restaurant. We had Dinner and BreaKfast for the 2 days and both days was good. However i think front Desk staff need some extra training. At 3 different times with different staff we were given wrong information. They cluless about the facilities and its timings etc. one day we were booked and told to go to Bar for our Dinner even after I mentioned we had dinner at the restaurant behind last night, the lady was so sure and told us to go to bar at the allocated time only to be told to go back to the restaurant by the Bar staff. When asked about children’s swimming times and information no clue when asked about driving range no clue and was told to go to the outer building and ask them. Apart from that i would definitely recommend and would return again. "

"Hotel is in desperate need of updating. Rooms and bathrooms are in poor condition. Hallways have visible marks and dents in the walls and carpets. Food is poor in Zest, breakfast is mediocre. "

"I stayed here for one night as was attending a concert at BP pulse which is walking distance. Staff was friendly, really liked the lounge area, breakfast had a good variety. Rooms were good enough, perhaps could have been a little bit longer (I am 6 foot 3!) but overall, an excellent stay with no complaints. Good value for money, and would definitely recommend this hotel if anyone had to go somewhere near by i.e. Birmingham Airport, BP pulse or NEC "
