"We had a fantastic stay at Clybaun Hotel in Galway! From arrival the staff were so welcoming. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the little touch of receptionist giving the children ice cream was such a lovely surprise — they loved it! Clean, spacious rooms very comfortable. Bed was great. We asked for restaurant recommendations for dinner and good information was passed to us. We didn't have breakfast. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes drive to Galway city center, with parking on site which made it really convenient for us. No complaints at all. Staff were friendly throughout and went above and beyond. Amazing value and we would 100% stay again and recommend to families."

"Clean rooms great staff. The only downside was there was no lifts or elevators so it was a maze to get up to the upstairs room especially if you have luggage is so something to note. The noise is quite significant at night time because it is right across the pub but they do offer earplugs if needed"

"Very clean room in a new building with a spacious and comfortable lobby. Excellent location. However the room was a bit small - there was no space for a nightstand - and lacked some typical conveniences such as cups and/or tissues and/or coffee maker and/or an iron etc. And I’m wondering who thought it was a good idea to put self closing hinges on the room’s bathroom door"

"Fabulous experience on a very busy day and night for the hotel. Quick check-in, super large room with comfortable bed and pillows, abundant towels and supplies for tea and coffee making. Dinner in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced Check-out easy and quick A special thanks to the drivers of the shuttle buses to the races, they were friendly and very very kind people. Well done the Clayton Hotel!!!"

"This was such a cool hotel! I would describe the style like a futuristic 50s vibe. Multiple bars, a beautiful rooftop restaurant, friendly and professional staff, great gym, I mean, we just wanted to hang out at the hotel. The room was perfectly sized, there was a minibar, the bed was so comfy. Location was great also, not center center, but like 5 minutes away walking. The bus and train stations are super close also. Loved it!"

"My wife and I and a friend from London stayed at the Nox Hotel Galway on 14th July as a stopover on our west of Ireland trip. I had difficulty finding a hotel in Galway as the Galway Arts Festival was in full swing on that date. I was apprehensive as The Nox Hotel was graded as a 3 star hotel but on arrival had I not known I would have presumed it was 4 star. The reception area was large, modern in design with comfortable seating. The reception staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were large, comfortable and well set out with all the amenities one would expect from a four star hotel. There was a phone at reception to book a taxi at a fixed price to Eyre Square in Galway. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide selection of hot and cold items. All the food at breakfast was well presented and delicious and the staff were efficient and friendly. A couple of other guest reviews have commented about the dark corridors and it can be a bit disconcerting to step out of the lift to low lighting but main lights come on as you proceed along the corridor. It's the hotel's way of reducing its energy footprint and making the hotel more "green" and I approve of that. All in all a very enjoyable stay at the Nox Hotel and if I return to Galway would have no hesitation in booking in at the Nox Hotel again."
