"We loved our stay and the location was great for accessing downtown Reykjavík without having to walk far or be stuck downtown. Only downsides were the pancakes at breakfast were cold and the bathroom in the room isn’t very sound proof. With those being pretty minor, the hotel was amazing, staff were friendly, and the hot tubs and spa area were well maintained and relaxing!!"

"I kinda want to gatekeep this place but they really were that amazing. I did not have a plan for Iceland, I just landed there and asked front desk to help me book some tours. Thor (yup that’s his name) helped me book the best tours and gave me some great recommendations. Everyone from the reception to service was very nice. The hotel is right by the lake, and is perfect if you want to be a little further away from the center but still be close. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. I’d book this hotel again in a heartbeat."
