Rude staff, gave me the wrong room then tried blaming it on me-until I showed them the reservation. Room service link in room didn’t work so I called the front desk. The lady at the front put me on hold, so I eventually called back. When they answered, the lady was intentionally rude and transferred me to a voicemail. I went up front to straighten things out and ultimately to cancel my room. At first they refused to give me any kind of receipt showing the credit card charge was cancelled, until after about 20 minutes of back and forth with the “controller” who said he needed to redact it because it has proprietary information. I challenged him saying that any time a credit card is swiped, the consumer is entitled to some form of record showing the transaction. About 15 minutes later, he came out of his office with my receipt. The hotel looks nice, but I wouldn’t go back. They also said that there was no manager available when I asked, which doesn’t seem right.
