"Lovely hotel with good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. I traveled to York by train, so the location of this hotel next to the station was perfect for me. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"This was a nice place to stay for a night in York. It is about a 10 minute walk to the train station, and a quick walk across the river to the heart of town. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk. The room was good sized and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. Very good full English breakfast buffet. The only issue was that it didn't have AC and the room got very hot. We could open a window which worked nicely, but on the other side of the river is a night club that was very loud, so we couldn't keep the window open because of the noise. All we had to cool us off was a fan which worked ok, but not great. It was a Friday night, so that was probably worse than other nights with the noise. It was still a nice place."

"Convenient location in Leeds city and close to the train station. My stay was very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect from a highly rated hotel. Very polite and helpful staff. It had a warm and traditional look and feel with quality standards."

"The room was modern, clean and spacious. It was a good location and the staff were very friendly. It is not advisable to leave the window open while sleeping as it is noisy outside but the windows are fairly soundproof. We could hear the guests in the room above walking around which was no ideal but I think that would happen in any room."
