"Great value stay in Dublin. The common areas are fantastic and I really enjoyed using them. The kitchens were not well stocked with cookware and there was no supplies to clean your room with, coupled with a lack of cleaning service that made it a little uncomfortable for a two week stay "

"The guesthouse was very charming as they haven’t changed much in years. All the staff were great especially Nicholas who was very personable. Beware of lots of stairs in the building. I for one loved being on the top floor. The neighborhood is a little messy and noisy on the street but that seems par for the course in most of the city. Many places to walk for food and there is a nice green park with a playground very near by. "

Bus stop just outside front door. Many shops and restaurants nearby although it's not in the best of neighborhoods. Workmen were there during the day painting walls and working on doorways. They were considerate...

"The room was lovely. We were concerned about the small bathroom from the pictures online but it was very nice and easy to get ready. No breakfast place was open when we left, so some grab and go rolls would have been nice. The coffee machine was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay."

"Need a better system for check in. I was not sent any information and had to phone the property to get codes. They did answer but arriving late at night as a lone female i felt unsafe. it should be made clearer what the system is before you book. Building itself is nice and my room was nice if a little dated. I personally didn’t like the set up. No luggage storage or anyone on site in case of issues."

"We were woken from our sleep to move rooms, as we had been put in the wrong room, then to be told we had to move again the following day, we were very amendable and was offered a £50 meal voucher and wine to be then told we owed more money so we returned these. Hotel itself lovely just disappointed that they felt this was ok"

"The Cliff Townhouse is in a wonderful location overlooking Stephens Green. It's a renovated Georgian house so there are lots of steps - not a problem for me but it's something for others to be aware of. While I had a fine stay, I expected better based on the online pictures and the price point. The breakfast in the Urchin Bar was average and service was really slow. I did dine in the restaurant for dinner (sea bream over black ink risotto - yum!) and it was excellent and the service was great...

"The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. However, I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers as there was a lot of noise from both the trains passing by and the nearby pubs. The trains would occasionally rattle the whole apartment!"

"Safe and comfortable property and surroundings. A market (Donnybrook Fair) was less than a block away. It was approximately a 25 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green/Dublin City Centre. The only issue I had with this property was the very thin walls (the building is very old) and I was able to hear conversations, washroom business, etc and the people in the next suite were not loud, ie: not shouting at all. Definitely bring your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The front desk kindly provided...

"Great location, easy check-in, nice clean room, and convenient restaurants nearby. Rooms were available for early check-in. Room is apartment like with small kitchen and sitting area. Great recommendations for couple breakfast places around corner. Convenient for on/off buses and Temple Bar area. Secure access after 5pm. Highly recommend for Dublin visit. "
