"This is a cute little inn. The pictures don’t match up the property 100%, it’s definitely dated from the time of the photos, but still not bad! The beds were comfy , and the room was clean! The price was perfect for a little trip to Salem and close to the train station!"

"The property had a great view of the river and was nicely decorated and clean. Enjoyed the property except for the following issues:The showers: The upstairs shower basically fell apart and was not able to be used, and the downstairs shower was very difficult to use. It ran either extremely hot or mildly warm and was greatly effected if any other water was running in the house.The check-in: No door code was issued to us and upon arrival it took nearly an hour to reach someone to provide a code for our entry.The check-out: We asked for a late check out, called several times about it, texted and emailed and received no reponse from the host. Very frustrating."

"The property was beautiful, perfect for our needs. We had a great time, enjoying the views, and the neighborhood! The house was comfortable, beds and living area! We had no need to contact the host. The reasons for minus one star,The downstairs area was a little musty, maybe because it was shoulder season and the house had been closed up? Second thing, no heat! We could have used a little to take the chill of early morning or before bed, I understand that some people may abuse the heat.Those small things did not take away from us having a wonderful time!"

"We love Jean’s home! You cannot get closer to the water. We’ve stayed several times. The bathroom and kitchen are small, the bedrooms quirky yet very comfortable, and it’s not a spot for young kids or those with mobility challenges. That said, WE LOVE IT!! This home is stocked well enough to prepare any kind of a meal and you can’t beat the view during prep. You literally cannot go an hour without feeling completely relaxed with all that water view and the gentle lapping of the Annisquam river. Please don’t take my review to heart, because we want the home for our next Gloucester getaway…"

"This was an absolutely beautiful property in a great area. The house was clean and looked exactly as pictured. The view of the water was phenomenal! Katie was so easy to communicate with! The house is far enough away from all the crazy of Salem but was close enough for us to have an amazing day trip! Perfect for our girls trip and all 8 of us would recommend the property!"
