We recently stayed at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and had an overall positive experience, especially considering the main purpose of our trip was attending a concert. Our room, located in the Opal Tower on the 16th floor, was clean and comfortable. The beds were especially good—we slept very well each night. The hotel itself is quite large, so be prepared to do a fair amount of walking. For us, that was actually a plus. One standout for us was Funny Library Coffee Shop. They serve great coffee and matcha, which was important for us to start the day right. That said, I do wish there were more breakfast options available within the hotel. There may be more choices in other buildings, but we didn’t explore enough to confirm. The pool area was well-maintained, with clean water and fresh towels. The poolside restaurant was a convenient spot for snacks, lunch, and drinks, and we enjoyed spending time there. Since we were there for a concert, staying at this hotel worked out perfectly. We purchased fast passes through the hotel’s website, which allowed us to get very close to the front. However, even with the fast pass, we still waited about two hours in line, so arriving early is essential if you want a good spot. One downside is the location—it’s off the Strip, so you’ll need to rely on Uber or rent a car to get around. Personally, I prefer staying closer to the Strip, but in this case, being near the concert venue was more important for my daughter.
